that announces their name
spread between
van & trailer
absorbed in their duties
to organize a tour
via their phones
heads bent
toward
twitter facebook & instagram
all eyes & thumbs

my son & i
go outside
to see the
international space station
fly by
the waiting
feels
sorta like all that
waiting i did
as a kid
for that ufo
to come
beam me
up & take me away
from all the shit
waiting
& more waiting
& did never appear
