If this isn't some Atlanta Poets Group inspired madness, I don't know what is.

The opening "Plants (35:03)" is some crazy visual poem. The diagram of a chemical compound. The diagramming of a sentence. A web. And all of it leading, humorously, to "Pringles." I followed various paths to the end. As we say, "All roads lead to Pringles."

"Poem for Randy Prunty" is a good old permutation poem and, actually, a Proteus poem to boot. Visually, they tend to create those diagonal striations in the text, which are as much the text as the words themselves.

I need to hear "sonic sonnet #1" to see how it sounds. All I can do now is hear how it looks, but it looks interesting. For instance, the appropriations are, necessarily and intentionally, beside the point. They are not significant in and of themselves (I mean, "in" is one of them), so that we now find ourselves past the point of questioning the status of the author (the point of appropriation) and questioning the status of appropriation itself.
