Mara Patricia Hernandez was born and raised in Guadalajara, Mexico. She is a visual poet, graphic designer, photographer, and digital artist who is currently living between 4 white walls in the San Francisco Bay Area. Mara's work has appeared in Otoliths, Other/Clutter and The New Post-Literate. Her work has been exhibited in some galleries across the US, and in several countries including Mexico, Brazil, UK and Belgium. She is co-editor with John Moore Williams of Avantexte Press and the online journal The Bleed, and the author of the blog /vi-zhə-wəl/.
