Sedentary Fathoms
section thirty-seven
When
you
are
seated I
hear a rhythm of
represented mores: you are alone
in the freedom wearing your biology in
open-handed language: I’m
listening, never
dis
-jointed
or
alive near absence and
the silence awakening me to an empty gaze until
hearing your shape intertwine with morning’s best and
unobstructed moment
Sedentary Fathoms
section thirty-eight
Clouds
upon a distant proclamation, hearing
gradated versions of gray
explain
painful renditions of insinuated,
reflectional articulations
of
why darkness is penetrating fear and midday light
is what
transcribes itself into an echoing fruition of privilege and
personal, unimpeded
discovery
—and this is
how distance becomes human—:
fear of difference
of a particular peculiarity etched
and handmade by perspectives other
than that of the mirror’s true / hidden,
praising
patois
Sedentary Fathoms
section thirty-nine
This window
watching what I’m
waiting within: silence
solace
certain
sameness paradigms as
the child growing and
pulling emotions from what
was distant prior to the push
of birth’s consistent and unaware
elation
Sedentary Fathoms
section forty
Stumbled inward the
aggregations’
causal formations in
-troduce synonyms for what
breathes well and in
devoted demonstrations.
Birthed, these
ornaments hold hallowed interpretations.
Breathed in what holds exterior breaths.
Here, nothing broken or
bereft for only
solitude holds these qualities
in the quiet
hand of silence’s altruistic
certainties
Sedentary Fathoms
section forty-one
Greetings from multilingual angles
from
those watching and
interpreting devotion.
This is where moths
rotate and bend
curls into intertwined meaning
among what watches and
designs ornamental absence
Sedentary Fathoms
section forty-two
When
leaning
learn what the language of angles moves
your isolated emblems toward. What of
delving deserves
uninterrupted
raptures and unobstructed
knowledge as reflection and promise to
interpret
sustained
reinvention
Sedentary Fathoms
section forty-three
How this language
stays
still stilled by missed
rhythms of
an overarching
architectural absence¬
Of sound and
Of devoted clarity
missing since the body bends to acclimate
to
trends and the circular warmth
of sameself reflections
finding what i means in a lost we accumulation
of
purposeful and undeniable devotion to
insinuated freedoms
Sedentary Fathoms
section forty-four
Furthering devotion to
for
a self relevant though death
could be/is
nearer now
than
when
earlier shapes contained
purpose toward embracing emblems of angles’ various
momentums into a
desirous
comprehension
