Elaine Woo is a Canadian poet and artist. She is the author of the poetry collections, Put Your Hand in Mine, Signature Editions, April 2019 and Cycling with the Dragon, Nightwood Editions, 2014. Her art appears in h&, S/tick, and Otoliths.
She writes: "Sworl, created with a toothbrush, was conceived in a drawing workshop facilitated by (me). Dryads Awaken was inspired by seeing the reforestation of Chernobyl in a documentary by Sir David Attenborough. Apparently, even wildlife thrives there now, decades after the nuclear meltdown."
