Michael Gould is a Canadian New Zealander whose poetry (mostly light verse) has appeared in Australasian publications, both popular and academic (Landfall, The Friday Poem, etc) and whose Surrealism and the Cinema: Open-eyed Screening (1976) was one of the first books in English on that topic. He has also been making vispo since the mid-seventies.
