Oormila Vijayakrishnan Prahlad is a Sydney poet, artist, and pianist of Indian heritage. She has been widely featured in both print and online literary journals and anthologies. Her recent works have been published in Otoliths, 3 AM magazine, and Star 82 Review, and are forthcoming in Parentheses Journal, Pithead Chapel, and elsewhere. She works out of a studio space in Lindfield.
She writes: "A friend gifted me a box of tea leaves. It came in a colorful paper packet which I cut up and used in these mixed-media pieces. All the artworks have been made with gouache, acrylics, inks, paper packaging, and cloth bits."
