Michael Reich

Easier to die with current tech

Maybe social media
makes it easier
to let go of everything
when we die.

Instead of having
deep, physical
evolutionary bonds
with special people,
we have
20,000 followers
who
only know
us
through some
tiny avatar
lost in
a sea of chat.

When you die
it'll be like
you were never
there
in the first place.

Take me away

This work is insightful and well-written by a brilliant visionary filled with insight. I can't wait to see what comes next for this young writer.

Nicely done, Michael.
You made me laugh when I came to the final stanza of the first poem.
The drawing was great: loved how you made the complex so simple, where the nuances of colors are distant in a world of strict dualities.
Thank you for sharing.
