Mary Kasimor

flamboyant words

the sad woman
                  stretched the horizon
            and ghosts stumbled out
wearing themselves
automatically taking me
along to the other planets
to the part where i married the sun
when we gathered by the water
frying the air birds flew away
           your poised unhappiness
missed your solutions
ended the tips of light
generous with managed words
with no one to eat the morning
and the wind hides in a beginning
         of dirt
from the months of growth
cataloging the flamboyant words
           if a beginning left you
in the ditch
roaming as you catch yourself
the cotton moved like cellophane
         the movies gave us myths
and horses i gave you
bad news
of your bitter translations

blue and dingy

ghosts less
the small words
bruised the hollow space
            we ate the flesh
the rooms stuffed me in

i wished you gone
dissecting those who slept
aware crickets held our hands
pondering blue and dingy
minimum road dreams
                      we are lost

the farmer’s wife lives death
delivered in corners
 handing out blood
 handing out the last
minutes choking

nightmare systems

i began on the southern dip of happiness
i began when day 10 dropped out of the air
i changed my clothes
exited sun and water
and fire fixing thoughts
straining my nervousness
changes with floating walls
dreams backing out
density after fingerprints
the blighted with speed rewards
your frustrated systems
your intimate self
repeats your lost bones
in the wind
burnt and spent growing
wind and spiders alive
in the heads of frustration
rescuing a nightmare
