3 Perspectives on the Same Scene
gravel becomes you
then only silence
shards of glass
in a basket of ribbons
imagine
a beehive on every corner & the queen at court
How Can Trees Be
so dark
& your hand
so visible
Inconsequential Moment
nevertheless
it lodged
in her throat
while off-stage
brougmansia
swayed soundlessly
Can a poem be one word?
probably
Elemental Almanac
a fork
left on
grill
scorches
hand
the wooden
heart
mute
to apology
her words
incendiary
& then
nothing
but air
surely
by Tuesday
rain
