& your hand

so visible



Inconsequential Moment

nevertheless
it lodged
in her throat
while off-stage
brougmansia
swayed soundlessly



Can a poem be one word?

Elemental Almanac

a fork
left on 
grill
scorches
hand

the wooden
heart
mute
to apology

her words
incendiary
& then
nothing
but air

surely
