Pearl Button is a poet and visual artist. Mostly her photos and paintings are created for her own sake, with very few being submitted for the public gaze. Her process concentrates on creating something that remains compelling to her own eye, over months, or even years. Art as she experiences it must be both ephemeral and everlasting. Her poetry is more commonly sent out. Forthcoming in 2022 with Dancing Girl Press, lune /-/ aria, the titular poem being first published here with Otoliths.
