Johannes S. H. Bjerg

1) what I didn’t think about (today) was the snow on the Anatolian Plateau most of it untouched by a pianist’s hands
2) we have no mountains but we sing about when we had some in another country and how hard it was to climb them
3) you weigh light in your right hand you weigh light in your left hand you weigh light and let it rest on your palms then you crack open an apple and let the sparrows out
4) as close as we get to forever on two legs
5) after the blackbird your future is a laundry basket
6) by coin cidence you come to think of it as an eye
7) but what ‘s left by the wind too would make up a decent life
