Sandra Simonds/The Tar Pit Diatoms/8
We followed our dreams for dreams were all we had, in the process our lives became magical
*
THE WAR OF THE WORLDS IS ON!
(don’t mind me)
sitting under my chain-gang nut-tree
eating corn nuts and sipping gin,
pouncing like a mouse
named Catalina: Warden of the State
Fair incarcerated as a 678 lb squash
and as they say: when in Vegas
(do as they say)
and beware the Gendarme between us.
*
Roy began having a recurring dream in the early 1980s. "We didn't know there was such a thing as white tigers" Siegfried explains. "Roy had a dream about tigers who were white, no stripes, no color. I told him 'I guess you're dreaming in black and white”
*
Within all of us there is an elusive melody which when heard and followed, leads to the fulfillment of our fondest dreams
