A note on içkin

“içkin” means,
     (1) "your drink"
     (2) "imminent”
“iç” means,
     (1) "inside"
     (2) "drink”
“kin” means “rancor”,
“doğal sınırlar” means “ natural borders”.

Ayşegül Tözeren was born in İstanbul, Turkey in 1979. She graduated from the İstanbul Medical Faculty in 2005.

Her first visual poem was published in Zinhar. Since then her visual poems have appeared on the Zinhar blog which is the major Turkish visual and concrete poetry blog.

Some of the visual poems published here will be appearing in Platforma (an exhibition for Visual Poetry of Asia).
