Tom Beckett

World Is
                               For Jean Vengua

World is what is expressed

Opera juice running from

Sentence-body-sound

Sentence-mind-shadow

Phenomenologies of dancing

Between falling buildings

Created in arguments

To align things

One opens in delirium

Inviting consideration of

Ideas plunging forth

To surprise the interior

Light of figured

Shadow dreaming postulant

Being in redundant

Subject's factual life

And its appropriation

To unbeknown access

Or torsion things suffer

With each flutter

Of a curtain inside

Eyes and mouths
