NONCE SONNET 14

                                                         While I
                                                               write
                                                                 one last
                                                                     eccentric
                                                                            sonnet,
                             elephantine carnival           barkers
                          blast their party’s prime           obstacle
as a tornado belching sixties            radical. A
green one at that. Let’s suppose he         can indict
(refashioned   yet)   chemically unaltered       Bushism &
latch it to the plight of middle strata vertigo        so thunderous
ly that he squeaks past the good soldier. Whether          or not Pres
ident Barack Obama aims to cast off a centrist pru              dence that
kept Uncle Bill afloat through the stormy nineties, the            right will
court laryngitis.   If he’d earmark some abundance from          corporate
“entities” to cramped bleacher-folks with poor prescriptions,
won’t many of his cronies rage surreptitiously to blunt these im
pulses? Beyond idealizing preacher ticks, plenty of blogs prime an
egalitarian pragmatism absent from our main stage history. No stunt.
That popular momentum will tilt against the cronies & barkers is possible.
