J. D. Nelson

Red Lobster Wichita

I asked for a refill
taxed for Abe Lincoln already
I stepped up to the juke-bot
& planted a cherry tree

the Freddies took me out back
forgot to feed me kibble
I barked & wet myself
I've already forgiven them, Father

above my head in red text:

               more cheese biscuits

would you like to buy a used wig?

the data from Denver:
gallon ewe goon egg aside the lion
               firestarch Jung learning
puzzlebook
cabin in Alaska, guessing

in this tragic zoo of police skeletons
it's as plain as the paper on the porch

it's only a dime, I thought to myself

the jackdaw farragut monsieur of capital K

here's a glumph but what

+ canned zen for a dollar
               + rudimentary zeus
+ my notes are crumpled, ugly

then I bisoned

Dracula Pork

mirrored hands
                mental odor

alien BBQ in French dressing room

               remembering
Table Mesa
                              Atlantis

aloof carbonoid earthbound senator
indigo tentacles exposed

Dracula will pardon rotten brains, Ringo, etc.

the sphinx has a gamma toad on hold

a ghost & basking pig snotted a charge
trash boils & cake w/ that ammonia

cup of bronze claus the fiddle

               I blush & ribbit

garage rex the chunk of boots w/ bleeding

the yes monk will bury a plume in your salad
a chunk of the lark paste in dada infamy

I crisped the bacon w/ the lamp of ninja blooms
nine the umbrella open & a door missing

shake hands with your terrible neighbor

nine of these
every time you husk

dream of rice & nines,
needle eye of knife

when it comes to re-knifing
cold turkey
& similar Thompsons

I can't you face
the red of my only gut

Webered franks,
time of the cup
