sean burn is a writer, performer & outsider artist with a growing international reputation. his plays have been performed or are being performed by by black swan productions; breaking binary; ctc; first draft; half moon; maverick; pegasus; paines plough; queens hall arts; under construction; weaver-hughes ensemble; zeitgeist. he is the maker of a more than a dozen poetry / experimental short films including ayler, our ordinary map, and stealing brecht which have received many screenings around europe. his interdisciplinary installations / performances have been developed with amino; arcadea; cesta, czech republic; dada-south; dash; the door; fotofeis and grampian hospital arts trust; fold and fred; gulbenkian canterbury and lit up; humber mouth festival; interarte, germany; lancaster university and lancaster litfest; new word order; ovada. he has had three cd’s of his work released, most recently speaksong (with gareth mitchell, musician). skrev press have published two full-length collections of his writing - edgecities (isbn 1904646-34-4) and @ the edge (isbn 978-1-904646-39-6). skrev press are due to publish a third – wings are giving out – 2009. he has also published his first novel - margin-walking ( isbn 978-0-9557746-0-7) - as print on demand. more at www.gobscure.info.
