Jim Leftwich and Márton Koppány

Some correspondence

Jim,
I was wondering whether we could try to collaborate on a few short sequences. I would be very interested. What do you think? No hurry of course. :-)
Best again,
Marton

Marton
i would be very interested, and i have an idea i would like to propose. i have been working to assemble a vocabulary of correspondences. i started on this last november and have done the arithmetic for several hundred mostly very common words. i'm using the E-26 system of gematria, which is the simplest system i could find (A=1 through to Z=26). i add the numbers for all of the letters, and then continue until i have a single-digit number for each word (eg. if a word's letters add to 96, then 96 adds to 15, and 15 adds to 6, so 6 is the primary number for the word). i would like to send you several pairs of words, correspondences, and have you create another kind of relationship between them. the words will obviously have their denotative, connotative and associational connections already in place. my use of this system of gematria generates another pattern for connections. i am thinking that you might come up with yet another pattern.
are you interested in this approach to a collaboration?
