Alexandra Yurkovsky
Alexandra Yurkovsky says that this is not a typical poem for her. She has had poetry published in, among others, Caveat Lector, Chiron Review, Fish Drum, and Modern Haiku. Her book reviews have appeared in the San Francisco Chronicle, San Francisco Bay Guardian, Parabola and other small magazines.
In addition, she is a substitute teacher in the Oakland Public School system, with an English teaching credential and an MA in Music.
