the snow melts as it hits the asphalt





full moon in sidewalk ice





                at the end of the street
a mountain





the last day of winter
one dandelion





gutter rivulet carries blossom petals





a plane
a planet
               a star




J. D. Nelson (b. 1971) experiments with words and sound in his subterranean laboratory.
