"Ovid's Metamorphosis is about transformation, 'Cruel fates force gods and humans to change their appearance.' Jeff sent me the book last year 2014 after one of our email conversations. To the Metamorphozs photographs I wanted to add our connectedness and dependence on the environment and nature.

"What makes Metamorphosis relevant now? Ongoing global conflict, highly propagandized mass communication, displacement and surveillance of large groups of persons, economic and natural disaster confronting populations with globalization and change. Environment transforms and informs."
