phishing

it will be as if i never existed
because i never existed
i was always an imaginary number
an imaginary data set
in the beginning i was a possibility
that never materialized
in the end
                   i never mattered
it will be as if i never mattered
because i never existed
it will be as if i never existed
because i never mattered
my account will be deleted

east

the envelope waits
like an accusation
its contents sealed
behind one direction
her spirit a bee
outside a closed window

when the phone rang
i didn't answer
when the text came
i did not respond
& now this message
labeled only east
i hold it in both hands
well past midnight

for those who celebrate excess

you will find me most
               in the words i remove

Such a lovely set of poems. I especially enjoyed the last one as you say so much with so few words. Very thought provoking set.
