Thomas Fink and Maya Diablo Mason

TACIT CHARISMA

That goat is on my list of ten
most influential people.

I hate when the supermodels
have histories. The goat cuts through all that

by nibbling on the models’
knees. They access a slate of

receptivity that their ambition
had not countenanced. He turns his head

to pluck one
shoot of grass.

ORIGINAL COPIES

He paints a canvas
black. Then a
second: “I
have two

stories, and I want
you to view them
as one.”

Culture?

A certain zero informs
my thinking; there is
nothing to respect

or disrespect.
Coincidences appear—
our white
shirts, which match.

Even the
physical oneness of identical
twins does
not endure.
