a ballad of thirst
Is it soiled—possibly bloodied—the dark*—
Is it hung to a semblance of clouds Hinged to What—
Maybe it’s a phrased cache a catchment of pooled time a
UniVers[e]al Mis-Vibration in circular notion of
I—
Maybe it’s just the next forgettable basin of meme
or a bio-based Philosophy of First—or
maybe
it’s just the same
old
bleak
unquenchable ballad of thirst—
