PAINTINGS: Stakeout Series 29-31

(29)

Spin cycle confounds the maiden
Saplings in the snow
NO ONE CALLED US BACK
Wire treads in a rubber wheel casing
                You should go now
Watch her as she tugs at his sleeve

(30)

Nothing equals itself again
Scary welts on the fake torso
WE TOLD HER WE WERE SORRY
Wiggling around in the underbrush
High heels in different shades of red
Watch her as she runs for the bus

(31)

All scratched up from picking berries
Seesaws wacked out of gumption
GIVE ME MY CHANGE, DICK
Formulaic enterprises have him baffled
I’m saying he had no idea
Watch her as she messes up her lines
