Oormila Vijayakrishnan Prahlad is a Sydney artist, poet, and improv pianist. She holds a Masters degree in English. Oormila has been painting and exhibiting for the past twenty years. She has showcased her art and accompanying poetry in India, Singapore, and Australia, and her paintings can be found in many private collections. She was a finalist in the Waverley Woolhara 9X5 Landscape Prize 2018. Oormila works out of a studio space in her home. She regularly performs her poetry and exhibits her paintings in Sydney.
