Oormila Vijayakrishnan Prahlad
Red velvet afternoons
Amethyst rush
Black camellia rain
On the turn
Venturing over verglas
A sojourn through the Thar

They were inspired by a magpie I feed regularly in my garden when I step out to catch some sun. All pieces were created using gouache, inks, acrylics, pens, paper bits, and cloth remnants with ethnic Indian prints, and are all 12”X 8”."

I like these works very much Oormila.
I like the colors, the titles, the drawings, the combination of materials.
And, of course, the reference to Wallace Stevens.
Thank you so much, Jack! :-)
