Note: Old: Tim put together a few of these Australian poet anagrams about ten years ago, inspired by reading Laurie Duggan’s of the 1970s, which in turn were inspired by those of Jonathan Williams. New: The anagrams turned up again and we found ourselves interested in them and began to update the list. We debated questions such as Should the name be included with the anagram or should the anagram only be presented? Can punctuation be added? And commiserated when an otherwise perfectly appropriate word or phrase was left with one or two letters that refused to bind. Quite a few names we wanted to include were found (by us at least) to be unanagramatisable.
Ella O’Keefe: author of the book Slowlier and the chapbook Rhinestone.

Tim Wright: most recently organiser of the now orries (https://flooble.net/~tim/now_orries) series of chapbooks.
