waves throw up sea grass balled
roll the beach in a quick wind
avast young kelp hold on tight
defeated bêche de mer pecked
by gulls pockmark the tideline
sting where some Krill on leave
pass by heading to their favorite
café sitting under some jellyfish
sunshades to salute the sunset toast
a pas passé whale of a time
at high tide the swell retracts
its castaways seals alert to
opportunity balance
