J. D. Nelson

the sun & friends here

normal earth

that old brain,
with the colors of thoughts

this is the money
now lovely

you become normal
hurting the sun

have me eat yarn

red, yellow, & white stripes
this means hot or sun fry

when soup is the flute
flashing FOND OF EARTH

need something to row
with my own beans & gel

hundreds of ants now
do you see

insect test in purple

& when singing in rain
stop to show off boots

is that the craze
for men with teeth

you know the earth
for its metals

something in the trees
the odor of the sun
