Three Poems
alike meet
we caught up
told less older
more than then obvious
pics of meals and offspring
decorating happenings
accepted and shared about
announcing more
perhaps selves
cropped between
another green
to exploit
bring it back post
moment pause edit
the other not me
in similitude
a rant
a spat
a quiz
a following
the politics
the applause
the familiar
all smarter than
what the weather’s like
***
random thought yellowed letter
coming to mind drip
call up tongue act
hand given retouch characters
stroked wild in tune
at least seem said
aloud aroused amount to
more please escape while
dance with inward wander
again attached almost taste
despite another hand taking
so here this trying
to misread between lines
what might mean echoes
***
being means
approval
I dive into
refuse like my father
remain nameless
everywhere I read
it’s addicting
being skeptical
actual scientists get this
the more you melt away
the result contains
found in most
clinically tested
further regularity
your body
absorbs testimonials
raves about the taste test
pleased to say results
I’ve experienced
the company confirmed
