| FOR SOME TIME NOW For some time now, there is much talk about fake news. They are not a modern invention. Sometimes, when I read history books, I find it extremely difficult to find the border between history and propaganda. BULLETS Language is the tool with which poets sow their crop of absences, of hopes, of wasted time. Language is a sleeping specter who preserves the wisdom of the past, is the key to the future. Language is a powerful cannon which uses neither gunpowder nor bullets. That’s why my words are never innocent. [translated from the Asturian by the author] |
